A member of the Esna Holdings Group, Esna Allied Enterprises is a strategic alliance between Esna (Pvt) Ltd and Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd. Esna Allied combines the financial strength of Esna Holdings Group with the technical expertise and skills of the Transglobe Group, to grow within the ever expanding local and international market space.
Esna (Pvt) Ltd originated in 1931 and was reincorporated as Esna (Pvt) Ltd with the advent of the third generation under the New Companies Act 7 of 2007. Esna engages in emerging opportunities in Sri Lanka, with significant investments in the power, renewable energy, shipping, logistics, exports, fuel bunkering, lubricants, mining and in the local banking and finance sectors. This has allowed Esna to have an increasing portfolio of subsidiaries operating in a range of industry verticals and continues to diversify its business interest.
Transglobe Ltd, which was established in 1982 is a General Trading and Engineering Services company providing preventive maintenance solutions and facility management services to various industries from industrial and commercial, to defence and healthcare, power and energy and plantation sectors. Over the years, the company expanded to include Transglobe Engineering Ltd, Ceypharma Ltd and Magnachem Ltd. Under the New Companies Act 7 Of 2007, all the businesses were amalgamated and re-incorporated as Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd.
